01 - 3 large ripe mangoes, peeled and cubed (approximately 21 oz)
02 - 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
03 - 1/3 cup granulated sugar (about 3.5 tablespoons)
04 - 1/2 cup water (4 fl oz)
→ Topping
05 - 2 tablespoons chili crisp, plus extra for serving
06 - Pinch of salt
→ Optional Garnish
07 - Fresh cilantro leaves or mint, chopped
# Directions:
01 - Combine mango cubes, lime juice, sugar, and water in a blender. Blend until smooth. Adjust sweetness or acidity if desired.
02 - Add 2 tablespoons chili crisp and a pinch of salt to the mango mixture. Blend briefly or swirl to evenly distribute the chili crisp.
03 - Pour the mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe pan. Freeze for 1 hour.
04 - After 1 hour, scrape the edges with a fork to break up ice formation. Return to freezer.
05 - Every 30 minutes over the next 3 hours, scrape and fluff the granita with a fork to create a granular texture.
06 - Scoop the frozen granita into serving dishes. Garnish with extra chili crisp and chopped herbs if desired. Serve immediately.
