→ Panna Cotta Base
01 - 2 cups heavy cream
02 - 1/2 cup whole milk
03 - 1/3 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1 1/2 teaspoons powdered gelatin
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - Pinch of salt
→ Strawberry Sauce
07 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
08 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
09 - 1 teaspoon lemon juice
→ Garnish
10 - Fresh strawberries, sliced
11 - Mint leaves
# Directions:
01 - In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the milk and let it bloom for 5 minutes until fully absorbed.
02 - In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, sugar, and salt. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the cream is hot but not boiling.
03 - Remove from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin, whisking until completely dissolved and no lumps remain.
04 - Add the vanilla extract and mix thoroughly until well combined.
05 - Pour the mixture evenly into 4 serving glasses or ramekins. Let cool to room temperature, then cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours until completely set.
06 - In a small saucepan, combine the chopped strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the strawberries soften and release their juices.
07 - Mash the berries slightly, then let cool. For a smoother consistency, blend until reaching desired texture.
08 - Spoon the strawberry sauce over each set panna cotta and garnish with fresh strawberries and mint leaves if desired.
