01 - 5 medium Granny Smith or Honeycrisp apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
→ Sweetener & Spices
02 - 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
03 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

04 - 3/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
05 - 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking dish.
02 - Toss sliced apples with half the cinnamon and half the brown sugar in a large bowl. Spread apples evenly in the prepared baking dish.
03 - In a separate bowl, combine oats, remaining brown sugar, remaining cinnamon, and melted butter. Stir until oats are coated and crumbly.
04 - Sprinkle oat mixture evenly over the apple layer.
05 - Bake for 35 minutes, or until topping is golden brown and apples are tender and bubbling.
06 - Allow to cool slightly before serving warm. Optionally accompany with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
